Daryl Watkins has been involved in the apple industry all his life in his home town of Batlow. As a child on the family farm he helped to grade apples with this Lightning hand-operated apple sorting machine made by the Lightning Fruit Grader Co. of Melbourne from the 1920s to the 1950s.
