After the 1920s, few tractors were manufactured in Australia as they could not compete with cheaper imports, mainly from America. Significant makes like the Lanz Bulldog and Lanz Model Q Tractors demonstrated the rapid advances in technology despite the intervention of a World War and resulting Depression and isolation of Germany from the rest of the world.
