Explore the fascinating world of pottery, from hands-on workshops to a captivating display of clay techniques. Whether you’re an aspiring potter or visiting with the family, there’s something for everyone!
Saturday October 4
Clay Slab Vase Workshop (16+)
Get hands-on in this two-hour workshop for ages 16+. Guided by experienced members of the Wagga Wagga Potters’ Club, you’ll learn slab building techniques to create your very own cylindrical vase. Add your personal decorative touches and choose from three glazes before your piece is professionally fired and ready to collect from October 25.
Workshop Times: 10:00 am–12:00 pm | 1:00 pm–3:00 pm

Sunday October 5
Come & Try Kids Pottery Workshop (5+)
Little hands can get creative in this one-hour workshop for children aged 5+. Kids choose from three fun activities:
- Pinch Pots – shape clay into bowls, cups, or pots.
- Little Critters – create imaginative hand-built creatures.
- Clay Slabs – roll and cut clay into flowers, ornaments, and more.
Workshop Times: 10:00 am–11:00 am | 11:30 am–12:30 pm | 1:00 pm–2:00 pm

All materials are provided, and finished pieces are fired and ready for pickup later. Children must be accompanied by a supervising adult, and clothes that can handle a little mess are recommended.
