Tech It Out Summer Holiday Workshops for kids in Wagga Wagga

As part of STEAM the Museum, the Museum of the Riverina and the Riverina Science Hub in partnership with EduKits International are hosting four workshops to help get kids coding, building and creating with technology these school holidays.

Build a world in virtual reality, create an augmented reality scavenger hunt, code your own Amazing Annoyatron and make and play the video game of your dreams.

Book in for the workshops through Eventbrite below, choose to attend all 4 and you'll receive $10 off the total cost!

These workshops are suitable for 9-14 year olds.


About the workshops

Learn Coding with the Amazing Annoyatron

The Amazing Annoyatron is the fun way for kids to learn about electronics and coding. With 20+ cool creations they can build (and re-build) plus free add-on projects, kids will enjoy creating new projects and pranks whilst building their STEM skills.

  • Cost: $50, plus Eventbrite booking fee – includes a  Amazing Annoyatron kit to take home, valued at $69.95!

Animate in Virtual Reality with CoSpaces

Build your own virtual reality world, animate your actors and share your story with your family and friends!

Augmented Reality Scavenger Hunt with Metaverse

Learn how to create an augmented reality scavenger hunt in the library, no programming required! Create a treasure hunt based on your favourite story or movie, or one of your own creation.

Create Video Games in Scratch

Have you ever played a video game and wished you could change how it went? Do you have a great idea for a game you’d love to play, but no one has released it yet? Then come along to our video game workshop and learn how to make it yourself! This workshop will give you an introduction to making video games in Scratch so you can create your own games form home.
