Field Recording Workshop
Use high-tech equipment to record sounds all around us, and learn how to create and share soundscapes online.
Sound engineer and Regional Arts Fellow David Burraston will guide participants through Wagga's beautiful Botanic Gardens to capture the sounds of nature and people.
Participants will experiment with acoustic and contact microphones, hydrophones and electromagnetic sensors. David will assist participants to edit and upload their own recordings to the internet, using supplied computers and editing software.
David Burraston is presenting this workshop in partnership with Museum of the Riverina. This Regional Arts Fellowship is supported by the NSW Government through Create NSW.
