Major attraction to the museum: The Museum of the Riverina tells stories about the people and events which have helped shaped the City of Wagga Wagga and the Riverina region. It is also responsible for collecting and caring for more than 10,000 objects, photographs, textiles and paper based materials which help tell those stories.
Further information about the town/museum: The Museum of the Riverina is a great place for locals and visitors to discover the Wagga Wagga story and a welcoming community space for all ages. There are two sites: Historic Council Chambers site which is located in the heart of the city's civic precinct and plays host to touring exhibitions and special events. And the Botanic Garden site which is situated opposite the Botanic Gardens and is home to the museum's permanent collection.

Major attraction to the museum:
A professional display of relevant cultural and historical materials which reflect and enhance the links between the RAAF Base and the local community. Outside the Heritage Centre are also various interesting military aircraft that have undertaken service in the defence of Australia over its history.
Further information about the museum or town: After 5 years of closure, in 2008 the community called for the museum to be re-opened. In 2010 Air Force reopened the facility renaming it RAAF Wagga Heritage Centre. The museum recognises the value of the regional heritage centre in celebrating and strengthening the links between Air Force bases and their local communities.

Major attraction to the museum: The Museum is located in the old Court House at Wyalong. The Court Room is in the original condition as it was when built in 1900. It features the wonderful architecture of that period.
